Tickets for the Palo Alto Black and White Ball are on sale for $135 each. They can be purchased here, on-line via PayPal or credit card, and in person or by telephone at Lucie Stern Community Center . You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase on PayPal. On-line purchases will be available up until 3 PM, Friday, October 3rd. After this time, tickets can still be purchased in person or by telephone at the Lucie Stern Community Center. Tickets will also be on sale, the evening of the event, at Lucie Stern - we really hope you will come out and join us!
Gleim the Jeweler is again sponsoring the Diamonds and Champagne event at this year's Ball. One lucky Ball attendee will find an exquisite 1 carat diamond in a beautiful champagne flute! Even if you aren't the winner of the real diamond, all other flutes will have a diamond CZ (only your hairdresser and jeweler will know the truth). No matter, real or fabulous, think of the wonderful things you can do with your diamonds; a beautiful ring, earrings, or any number of gorgeous pieces...there are no debates, diamonds are just stunning! Reserve your flutes now, $35/flute or 2 for $50.
We have phenomenal raffle prizes and auction items (see them on the website) which you can win or bid on the evening of the Ball — October 4, 2008. Unfortunately, raffle tickets cannot be sold on-line due to legal restrictions. All proceeds from ticket sales, Diamonds and Champagne, Auction and Raffle will benefit the Palo Alto Recreation Foundation and Palo Alto Partners in Education.

Once a ticket is purchased, an event wristband is required to gain entry to the Ball and must be worn throughout the evening. If you purchase tickets in person at the Lucie Stern Community Center, you will be given your wristband at that time (the wristbands are not replaceable). Patrons purchasing tickets via phone, PayPal or credit card will pick up their wristbands the night of the event at "will call"; just show the confirmation email that will be sent to you shortly after your purchase along with ID at the "will call" desk. In addition, you can now also purchase raffle tickets at Lucie Stern, via phone and/or mail. Raffle tickets are $25 each or FIVE for $100.
Lucie Stern Community Center
Official event wristbands, Diamonds and Champagne and Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Luce Stern Community Center in person and by phone (650-463-4900) during regular business hours. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Purchases made in person can be paid for with cash, check or Visa/MasterCard. Phone orders can be processed using Visa/MasterCard. The Lucie Stern Community Center is located at 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, California 94301.Will Call
. Phone orders will be onfirmed by e-mail. Please be prepared to show ID and e-mail confirmation when picking up wristbands.
Parking shuttle service will be provided between 7:00 PM and 1:30 AM from the Town and Country parking lot at Embarcadero and El Camino Real and from the Cowper Street garage at the Cowper entrance.
